Stretching Experiences

Today was a day of stretching experiences. Many of our team went out to sleep with the Samburu tribes in a mud hut and minister there to various churches. Then a group of them went to minister in a boys school with around 1200 kids. So proud of the boys for how they have been stepping out.
My great challenge was being left at Heroes without my husband, big kids or rest of the team. But I did survive and got to spend Sunday services with the kids here, which was a great experience, although a challenge for me as I got to stretch my preaching muscles.

Yesterday we had a great time touring the gardens with the kids. I took a selfie with a cow and the sweet girls who escorted me.

I got to capture Asher and his companions near a passion fruit vine, filled with not-quite-ripe fruits.

I enjoyed instant coffee and a hand delivered pastry that a friend flew me all the way from Paris, enjoying it greatly, even if it was a few days old. I felt very loved. Pastries are my love language.

We also found this festive chameleon in the Shamba (garden ) area. I was very proud of myself for holding it.
These kids are just the best and it's been such a joy to get spend time getting to know them.
